In a recent interview, Raj decided to open up about his ex-wife Kavita and the reasons behind their divorce. The video shows Kavita blaming Shilpa Shetty, who is now married to Raj, for being a troublemaker in their marriage. Speaking to Daily Mail, Kavita had shared how Raj constantly talked about Shilpa. She also added how he pestered her for a divorce. “I look at the pictures of them together and think, she’s with my husband, she’s living my life,” Kavita was quoted saying.

She also stressed upon how Raj was ignoring the family.  “Because he had found someone better, cleverer, and more famous than me,” Kavita had stated. Back then Raj had expressed his shock over his ex-wife’s comments. He also made a public apology to Shilpa and her parents. And when Shilpa was quizzed about the same, she had denied playing any part in Raj’s divorce with Kavita. “She knew very well that I didn’t even know her husband when she walked out on him,” the actor had said in an interview.

And now, the viral throwback video has brought the controversy to the light again. Talking about which, Raj revealed that Kavita had an affair with his sister’s husband. He found out that she has been cheating on him for a while and thus decided to part ways.
