The romantic thriller Tula Pahate Re’s Isha Nimkar was a character that got imprinted on the minds of the audience. Isha’s innocent charm and her transformation after learning Vikram’s truth was a journey of escalating excitement. Gayatri Datar played the role of Subodh Bhave’s onscreen wife Isha Nimkar. The youthful and chirpy girl managed to pull off the character with vivid and bustling energy that was much required. Gayatri proved herself and her talent as she came out as a strong actor opposite Subodh Bhave, a veteran actor known for his intimidating persona. The show was a thriller that involved murder mystery, reincarnations, karmic wheel, and love in all forms!

Gayatri Datar has been posting many colorful and joy-filled pictures on her Instagram handle. Inspiring her followers to stay happy during this difficult time, the actress also came live and had a one-on-one chat with her fans. When asked about the meme culture and being a victim of it, Gayatri said, ‘I used to see most of the memes, these were very funny. But I never got offended as the memes meant that the people were watching our show and then coming up with jokes, which was still publicity right?’. Gayatri also talked about her first day on the sets of the show and her co-star Subodh Bhave, whom she lovingly addresses as ‘dada’, ‘First day on the set was extremely comfortable, I felt very proud of myself and lucky as well that I was getting to work with dada, Abhidnya and Gayatri on my first project.’

Gayatri Datar also shared the story of how she landed the show,’I was auditioning for many shows but then the casting directors felt I was perfect for this show. My love for acting had begun way back when I started acting in theatre at school and got praised for it.’ The host asked Gayatri about her laughing style and Gayatri said that people’s liking to her laughter is one of the most astonishing experiences for her.

Gayatri also shared details of her next project,’I am not going to perform in many serials, but during the lockdown the fans would definitely see me in a different avatar and they would love it.’ She was then asked about the jumbled timings of the show on Zee Marathi, ‘I don’t know why the channel has started airing the show at 12 am instead of 12 pm, but I am glad that the fans are still watching it at that hour of the day and tagging me in stories and posts!’

Gayatri also talked about the summer vacations she used to have when she was younger, ‘We used to visit the village and have fun. But now after lockdown, I want to work and face the camera once again.’ She added. The actress revealed that she loved Vicky Kaushal’s acting in Masaan and that she would want to have a boyfriend like him. Gayatri also asked her fans to maintain social distancing and she added that they must view Tula Pahate Re on ZEE5 whenever they feel the need to see her. Gayatri’s lively chat added a new zeal and the happy-go-lucky actor’s smile made our day!
