If everyone in the world had to agree on one thing, it would be the importance of our best friend. They are there for us, through our good and bad days, and they are ready to fight for our happiness with the world. Similarly, best friends on-screen are equally important. To say the least, they help our protagonists become our more powerful and wiser. Just like Amrutha Rao and Anji (Harsha Vardhan and LB Sriram) have been the perfect match to each other in Amrutham Dhvitheeyam.

Like our parents, we agree that Anji and Amrutham make an iconic on-screen BFF pair. But apart from them, there are several other best friends in our favourite shows. Which duo do you like the most?

Mrudula and Mansi of Ninne Pelladatha

Our first pick has to be Mrudula and Mansi (Madhubala and Sree Priya) from the Telugu romantic-drama, Ninne Pelladatha. They aren’t biologically related but grew up as sisters. There was a storm of uncertainty and hatred between the two for a long time. However, they came back to each other like two peas of the same pod.

Nayani and Shiva of Trinayani

Nayani (Ashika Padukone) and Shiva, of Zee Telugu serial Trinayani, have to be the most unusual BFF duo that we witnessed on screen. Nayani is a girl with superhuman abilities and Shiva is a friendly parrot. He converses with people and is always there to take care of Nayani. Interesting, aren’t they?

Chandrika and Prasad of Kalyana Vaibhogam

One may argue that Jai and Chary (Sunny and Surya Teja) deserve to be on the list. Their friendship is something about which there are no two-sides. But Chandrika and Prasad are unique. Despite being married to each other, this couple is no different than teenage rebels. They’re dumb, at times, but goofy always.

Arya and Jende of Prema Entha Madhuram

Zee Telugu’s most popular show, Prema Entha Madhuram has given us many interesting characters, including Arya Vardhan (Sriram Venkat) and Jende. They seem to have an employer-employee relationship. But there are times when Jende commands Arya and the latter follows it without a question. Clearly, they have a bond beyond the office. We’re excited to see what more comes their way.

Lastly, we have Shruti and Laya (Yamini) of Thoorpu Padamara. They take pride in being the polar opposite and yet find solace with one another. Mostly youngsters may relate to at least one of them and the quirks of their relationship.
