Rhea Chakraborty has been in the news a lot these past few weeks due to her being the girlfriend of late Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. This week, Sushant’s father, KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea and her family members under various sections, including 306 (abetment to suicide). She has now moved the Supreme Court asking it to transfer the FIR to Mumbai from Patna. A few weeks back, Rhea had also revealed that she was being harassed and sent rape threats to by fans of the deceased actor.
Rhea’s film career started in 2012 when she acted in a Telugu film named Tuneega Tuneega. The former VJ got her big break in Bollywood in the following year, in the film Mere Dad Ki Maruti. In 2014, she played the titular role in the Ali Fazal starrer, Sonali Cable. Later, she also appeared in films like Half Girlfriend, Bank Chor and Jalebi. Sushant’s former girlfriend, actress Ankita Lokhande has also made allegations against Rhea, saying that he had told her that he was “quite unhappy in the relationship and wants to end it as Rhea harassed him.”
