Who Is Sanjana Ganesan, Who Got Married To Cricketer Jasprit Bumrah?

Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah recently got married to his girlfriend Sanjana Ganesan in a private ceremony. The couple had kept their relationship very secret, so when it was revealed that Bumrah was getting married to Sanjana, his fans were quite surprised. Here are some of the facts that you might not know about Sanjana.

Sanjana was born on 6th May 1991 in Mumbai. She completed college and joined an IT firm after that. She worked as a software engineer for a year from 2013 to 2014. Sanjana was always interested in modelling, so she gave up her engineering job and followed her passion for modelling. She participated in the beauty pageant Femina Miss India and she was named as one of the finalists in the show. Sanjana was also awarded the ‘Femina Officially Gorgeous’ title in the beauty pageant.

After modelling in many fashion shows, Sanjana was also a part of MTV’s famous reality show Splitsvilla and there she got into a relationship with one of the participants, Ashwini Kaul. She garnered a lot of praise from the audience during the show. After the show, the relationship did not last long and the couple broke up in 2015. After Splitsvilla, Sanjana got a job as an anchor in Star Sports and she hosted shows like Match Point, Indian Super League, IPL Auction and Dil Se India.

Many rumours started making the rounds of social media about Bumrah’s bride after BCCI confirmed that Jasprit Bumrah was taking leave for his wedding. When Sanjana Ganesan’s name came up in these rumours, the couple did not comment on it at all. After the wedding, the couple posted photos from the wedding and wrote,” “Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course. Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you.”
