Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh recently celebrated their third wedding anniversary and documented the occasion on Instagram. The pair traveled to Uttarakhand to spend some time together.

Speaking of the challenges they faced during that time, Sabyasachi mentioned that he later suggested Deepika Padukone come to the trials in a burkha. The designer told the movie magazine that when Deepika called him, the first thing that came to mind was horror. In the movie Nightmare, Sabyasachi made it clear that the picture flashed in front of him not because of Deepika Padukone, but because of the fear of keeping the wedding outfit a secret. Sabyasachi is no stranger, he also mentioned that Before, he did Anushka’s wedding. They host a lot of celebrity weddings, but in India, when a movie star wedding is a big worry, secrets come to light.
The designer also mentioned that he and his team just had a month to plan Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s wedding in 2017. However, in Deepika and Ranveer’s case, his team had a six-month time frame, which increased the likelihood of secrets being exposed to public channels. Sabyasachi mentioned that when they did Anushka’s wedding, they had a month, but with Deepika Padukone, they had six months, and everyone was guessing. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh may have been wedded 50 times in the press before they were married.
On the work front, for those who are unfamiliar with the duo, they met while filming Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela. They have also appeared in Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. They married on November 14, 2018, after dating for several years.
