From Dimple’s tragic life story to Malavika’s love for her brother Om, there’s one side of these exceptional anti-heroes that we admire. Read on for more.

The new wave of quality content has introduced us to many conceptual yet realistic stories. And female-driven shows are one of them with leading ladies standing out as an inspiration to millions of viewers. Similarly, Zee Marathi seems to be at the forefront when it comes to the most inspiring and realism-filled female-centric dramas. The showrunners here have not only treated us with heroic female leads but have also focused upon flawed and complex characters.

The vamps of TV have been replaced by many unlikeable grey characters. Though we hate and disgust their actions, there’s always a side of them we adore. These characters might be awful at times, but they are more compelling as individuals. Their shortcomings have made us realize that it’s okay to be flawed. While we love to hate them, we also root to see a change within them. So, on the eve of Women’s Day, let’s celebrate the presence of these flawed-yet-bossy characters.

Sharmila

Sharmila has always tried to create a rift between Aditya and Sai. She’s one of the vital conflicts in this story of romance. She never fails to let down the Brahmes and is often seen taunting them. However, there’s one good side of hers we love the most i.e., her love for Sai. Remember the time when she got into an emotional conversation with her husband Shashi talking about Sai’s childhood memories?

As a mother, she even tried to cheer up Sai many times. Though this good side of Sharmila won’t justify her cruel actions. But we believe that she can have a change of heart soon, and Aditya-Sai would definitely make it possible.

Dimple

Dimple’s life story is quite tragic which usually justifies her decision of assisting an evil Ajit Kumar. She had a dream to pursue a career in acting which eventually failed due to her poor family background. And to earn money she started working for Ajit while also helping him in his cruel plans. She is a flawed anti-hero who has many times troubled even Ajit when he’s on the wrong side.

Dimple standing firmly with her family is one characteristic of hers we all love. Recently, we saw her getting emotional after Manju’s death and she warned Ajit of his misdoings. There’s a possibility that she’ll find herself driving into self-guilt and will open up all the secrets of Ajit.

Malavika

Malavika has her way of doing things, she’s extremely obsessed with the word “class” and “standard”. And that’s one of the reasons we love to hate her. She often creates problems for Sweetu and her family. Yet, there’s a great chance that she might have a change of heart for the love of her younger brother Omkar.

Though she has not lived up to her mother’s values, she definitely shares a great bond with Om. And we love and admire that side of hers. Further in the story, we might see her changing her views for the love and care of Omkar.

So, that was the list of some exceptional grey characters of the Zee Marathi universe who are yet to get on the good side but may have a change of heart.
