Starring Sachin Khedekar, Bharat Jadhav, Saksham Kulkarni, Gauri Vaidya, Siddharth Jadhav and Kranti Redkar, the film Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho is directed by  Mahesh Manjrekar. Released in 2010, the film follows the story of a single father who raises two children and out of the two children, his son wishes to become a cricketer but feels pressurized by his father’s constant endeavours to make him the brightest student. The film’s take on the taxing education system in India is infused with good humour and with actors like Bharat Jadhav and Sachin Khedekar, you’re bound to be entertained and educated in equal measures.

Saade Maade Teen

Released in 2007, the Marathi comedy film Saade Maade Teen was a breakthrough film for actor Bharat Jadhav. It also starred actor Makarand Anaspure, Ashok Saraf, Siddharth Jadhav, Amruta Khanvilkar along with an ensemble cast. The blockbuster film followed the story of three brothers who own a garage. After the elder brother gets jilted by a girl once, his younger brothers hide their love lives from him for fear of defying him. With 3 brilliant actors, this one is perfect with its comic timing and a true-blue masala entertainer.

Mast Chalalay Aamcha 

Mast Chalalay Aamcha is another Marathi comedy film, to binge-watch on, on the occasion of World Laughter Day. Featuring Kishori Ambiye, Devyani Deshmukh and Bharat Jadhav in the lead roles, the film is directed by Sachin Goswami. The comedy film revolves around the love-hate relationship between a bank manager father-in-law and an auto-rickshaw driver son-in-law where both pretend to be above one another. Through a simple theme, showcasing vivid attitudes of people in society, with the help of some more characters, the movie has enough humour to keep you entertained.

Saglikadhe Bombabomb

Saglikade Bombabomb stars Ashok Saraf, Varsha Usgaonkar and Prashant Damle along with an ensemble cast. Directed by Avinash Thakur, the film follows the story of Varsha, an actress who falls in love with Ashok, an unassuming reporter but he shies away from her as she is from a different world. Ultimately, she woos him and they get married. The era of late 80s and early 90s was ruled by actors like Ashok Saraf, Prashant Damle and the likes, so when they come under the same roof, all your expect are some giggles.

Adla Badli

Following the story of two affluent business partners place an unusual bet on human tendencies. The film Adla Badli was directed by Mehmood Jr and starred Ashok Saraf, Aditi Bhagwat and Viju Khote, Anand Abhyankar in the lead roles. As the story progresses, the lead actors use one of their employees and a poor and lazy man in an experiment where they exchange their positions in society.

Aamhi Satpute

The film Amhi Satpute is the 2008 Marathi remake of an English movie Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Infact, it’s even compared to the Hindi classic Satte Pe Satta. Directed by Sachin Pilgaonkar, who also appeared in the film along with actors Ashok Saraf, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Swapnil Joshi, Atul Parchure and Nirmiti Sawant. It focuses on the story of Kandya, who has six brothers, marries Purna, who also has six sisters. Kandya’s brothers are undisciplined, but Purna decides to improve them. This is a musical comedy and is perfect to laugh out loud with your family together.
