Yaaradi Nee Mohini‘s Muthurasan is one of the best husbands that you could ever ask for. Even without letting his wife know, he makes sure that there is no threat to her. He changes her spiked vessel for a holy one when Swetha and Maruthu contaminate it for their own needs. This only goes to show that he will do anything to keep her safe and stand like a rock by her side.

Muthurasan stands like a shield

When he came to know about Swetha and Maruthu’s plan to spike Vennila’s vessel to make it impure, he instantly made sure that Vennila had nothing to worry about even if she did not know what was happening. He has always been there for her as a shield, like the time he became a statue for her so her life did not have to be threatened by Swetha! When he heard that Swetha was conspiring with Namboodari again, he pretended to be hypnotised by her so she does not target Vennila.

Muthurasan always rescues Vennila in time 

Even when Muthurasan was blind and did not know what was happening to Vennila, his subconscious mind made sure that his wife was fine. When Swetha, Neelambari and Namboodari were all set to transform Vennila into a parrot, we assumed that she would certainly be a victim to Swetha’s plans this time, but Muthurasan made sure that he never let that happen. He was blind at that time, but when it came to Vennila, he even regained his sight to save her!

Muthurasan makes sure that Vennila feels secure 

When he was forced into marrying Swetha, he made sure that he did everything to let Vennila know that she was the only one he loved. The first chance that he got, he tied the Mangalsutra around her neck, when everybody least expected it. All of us were convinced that he would tie it around Swetha’s neck. He makes sure that she is safe, but also wants her to know that he values her a lot, thereby making her emotionally secure too!
