Yogesh Tripathi is an Indian television actor, renowned for his character in the acclaimed show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai! The actor has increased the quotient of fun in the already humorous show. With his performance, he has won the hearts of the audience.
Early Life and Family:
Yogesh Tripathi was born on 13 August 1979, in Rath, Uttar Pradesh, India. While his entire family is involved in the profession of teaching, Tripathi is the only member who ventured into the field of acting.
He is married to Sapna Tripathi with whom he has a son. He is well known for portraying the role of Police Inspector Happu Singh in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai! Tripathi plays to his strengths. His comic timing and roles portraying funny caricatures is the highlight of any show.
Career:
Having started his acting career with theatre from the well-known Bharatendu Academy of Dramatic Arts, it was after struggling for two years that he chanced upon a Chloromint advertisement in 2007. He was subsequently spotted by director Shashank Bali, who was working with the F.I.R. TV show on Sab TV channel. He worked in F.I.R. portraying various characters. After that, he came into prominence with a small but effective role in the comedy show Chidiya Ghar.
Since 2015, he has gotten into the skin of character Inspector Happu Singh on Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai! on & TV. The concept and storyline of the TV series are highly inspired from the 1995 Hindi sitcom Shrimaan Shrimati.
In January 2018, he played the role of Chhote, a saloon owner in the sitcom Jijaji Chhat Per Hai airing on Sab TV. He plays a lead role in a sitcom, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, a spin-off of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai! which will focus on Happu Singh’s mother, wife and his children. The show was broadcasted on & TV from 4 March 2019.
Yogesh Tripathi has also chanced in films like Paa (2009), Admission Open (2010), Dilphire (2016), and in a short film titled Bulbul in 2017.
