ZEE5 Joins Hands With Jio; Avail ZEE5’s Digital Content Library With Jio Fiber Connection!

With the imposition of nationwide lockdown due to COVID-19, many people who are now working from home instinctively turned to online channels. But the current scenario has not only has increased the demand for engagement on OTT platforms but also its connectivity. A lot of people have finally found the time to re-connect with others during this lockdown. And here’s good news for all everyone! Reliance Jio has partnered with your popular online streaming platform ZEE5. It’s a win-win right?

Yes, you read that right! The service provider has now joined hands with ZEE5 to offer the best of entertainment to its JioFiber customers, enhancing the growth of the overall digital ecosystem. Well, the Jio users can now rejoice as ZEE5’s extensive digital content library (4500+ movies & 120+ originals) will be available on Jio’s platforms. From ZEE5 originals, movies, TV shows, lifestyle shows to music videos, kids entertainment series and animated movies, etc.

During the lockdown, ZEE5, in order to ramp up its operations, made its premium content free and added new sections to the existing ones like ZEE5 Kids which streams child-friendly content, among others. While movies like Rekka, Soodhu Kavvum, Vaaya Moodi Pesavum, among others, are available for free during the lockdown; Popular trending shows like Sembaruthi, Sathya, Yaaradi Nee Mohini and Oru Oorula Oru Rajakumari are also getting streamed on the ZEE5 app.

ZEE5 Originals like Mrs Subbalakshmi, Postman, Thiravam and High Priestess, too have been re-released as one free episode per day. Expanding its reach and spreading its content to as many people as possible, ZEE5 observed an exponential surge in engagement levels. And now, in order to further integrate this strategic content alliance, ZEE5 will be incorporated into JioTv+ app. This new development is slated to go live soon.

While ZEE5 usually costs Rs 99 per month and Rs 999 a year to an independent user, for JioFiber, it’ll be free in the eligible plan (for customers on silver plan & above – 899 plan & above). Also, the fact that a massive population is enjoying 4G data on their JioPhones and now with ZEE5 subscription, the users can watch content across languages such as Hindi, English, Bhojpuri, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu Kannada, Malayalam and others..
