ZEE5 Original Film ‘London Confidential’ Starring Mouni Roy and Purab Kohli Is Coming Soon

ZEE5, the largest Original content creator in India has been entertaining the audience with back to back unparalleled Original films and series. The video streaming platform now announces, ‘London Confidential’, a one of a kind situational spy-thriller franchise set in the times post the current pandemic.

The film, currently being shot in London, stars Mouni Roy and Purab Kohli in pivotal roles. Additionally, Kulraj Randhawa, Sagar Arya, Parvesh Rana, Jas Binag, Diljohn Singh, and Kiren Jogi will feature in supporting roles. Produced by Ajay G Rai & Mohit Chhabra and directed by Kanwal Sethi. Amid a series of brutal killings of Indian agents in London, the narrative revolves around Uma, a RAW officer who is in a race against time to find the mole in their own ranks.

Director Kanwal Sethi said, “This is the first OTT feature film to be shot in London post the lockdown. On one hand, it was a very challenging experience and great learning to shoot in these difficult times, but at the same time, it was also a joy to work with a wonderful team. I really appreciate the team at ZEE5, Ajay Rai, and Mohit Chhabra who came together and decided to start filming. Mouni, Purab and Kulraj and the entire cast are all very passionate about the project. We have tried to show London in a new face, like never before.”

Mouni Roy said, “The best gift of working on this film was to learn from Kanwal Sir & sharing screen space with Purab. We had such a fun time shooting all the scenes together. It is a spy-thriller franchise with a stirring plot and lively characters passionate about what they do. Purab is a thorough gentleman and an absolute rockstar. He has been one of my favourite people since we worked together in 2014 & I missed him a lot on set after he left for Germany. Kanwal Sir is extremely perceptive, precise, patient, an amazing creator & has a beautiful mind and I know I am his favourite. I definitely want to work with him again soon. Kulraj and I have only shot for a few days, she’s lovely and I think we have done a few good scenes together. Jas, Pravesh and the rest of the cast is fantastic too. Without much ado, I shall let you all wait for it to premiere on ZEE5 with as much excitement as we have.”

Purab Kohli said, “I’m excited about my role as Arjun, who is a RAW agent. Action, spy, thrill, a mole in the system. Looking forward to what people feel about seeing me in this new avatar. I really enjoyed Kanwal’s collaborative style of working. Mouni is amazing. I’ve always thought so from when we worked together way back in 2014. I love the fire that shines from this Bengal beauty.
