Rosé’s Met Gala debut was unquestionably memorable. The Blackpink member and solo artist walked the red carpet alongside Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello, wearing a stunning dress from the designer’s winter 2021 collection. The dress definitely turned many eyes at the occasion and attracted much attention. She was one of the only two female K-pop singers to be invited in the event’s history, the other being CL.
Rosé wore a black short dress with a large white bow. She completed the ethereal look with black heels, a stunning neckpiece, and a blonde hairdo with loose side hair framing her face. The K-pop star did look like an absolute diva on the red carpet. Only if the tiny black dress with the huge white bow looks somewhat familiar to you, it’s because Zendaya wore it on the cover of the October edition of British Vogue.
While the two stars happened to don the same dress, there were two completely different approaches in their looks. BlackPink’s Rosé and Zendaya, both carried the dress gracefully with some custom characteristic features.

Rosé’s red-carpet appearance solidified her position at the top of the fashion looks of the Met Gala 2021. She donned the ethereal look with loose blonde ponytail, framing her face from both sides. To accessorize the look, she paired up the dress with long shimmering earrings and a bold necklace. The look was an inspiration to the youth and covered minimalist makeup.
Zendaya, on the other hand, went wider and bolder with her version of the same dress. For the British Vogue October issue cover, Zendaya kept her brown hairdo with an almost messy bun. She donned a dark eye-makeup look with bold rings used as an accessory. Zendaya’s look was more out there and screamed confidence with no earrings or neckpiece. She flaunted her long maroon nails with a foxy vision, becoming the star of the cover magazine shoot.
We are all hearts for both looks. Which one are you inclining towards?
