The latest ZEE5 Original series Kailasapuram  has something exciting to offer for those who like watching stories that are high on crime and drama. It is set in the small town with the same name, that is located in Vishakhapatnam. It’s a gritty tale that follows the lives of a group of youngsters who have gotten into substance abuse and peddling in order to get a better life for themselves. If you haven’t watched it yet, we list out six scenes from each of the episodes which will give you an idea of what you are missing out on.

The first episode does what any web series is supposed to do. It introduces us to the characters who will be important over the next episodes. You meet the lead actors, the supporting cast, the random passersby. But there’s something about the local corrupt cop Parvateesam that you cannot shake off. Why? Wait for the end!

Many a time we hope that we remained ignorant of a certain fact. Because knowing causes greater harm. The same things happen with the four youngsters in Kailasapuram. One of the gang members is dead. All along, it was considered to be a suicide. But they find out it’s cold-blooded murder. Guess what? They’re all on the radar now.

When one thing goes wrong, we convince ourselves that nothing is going right. And eventually, things that were fine, start going wrong too. That’s what happens with this bunch of intermediate students. From being a target of the drug lord to being scolded by parents, teachers and everyone else, the emotional trauma is too much handle. They all end up hurting one another at the time when they needed to stick close to each other the most.

We hear the name Mohan Rao right from the beginning but do not meet him until the fourth episode. Even when we do, it’s a lot more tricky than knowing that he has been the man behind corrupt and illegal activities in the small town. The number of questions you have while watching this episode is on a constant rise. Who is he? Why he is back? If not him, then who? What does he want? So on and so forth. The answers… wait for them!

By the time we almost reach the climax, the number of tragedies in the small town of Kailasapuram has increased manifold. Broken pieces start coming together now. Lost causes find their motivation again. Scattered teens hold each other again.

The finale is what makes you stop and say ‘wait! What did just happen?’ But that’s what it is. Expect the unexpected. The police case, the drug lord, the mysterious murders, the faceless man behind it all, the mobile shopkeeper, the local corrupt cop… Sit down, breathe in and breathe out. Watch all the threads weave together in front you as you sit there clueless and spellbound.
