Karan Kumar and the Punjabi TV show Aajo Jinhe Khedna has given us the gift of going back to those good old days where outdoor games were an internal part of our lives. After Rumaal Chukna and Langdi Laat, we got you a recap of a game that is still best remembered for its uniqueness – Bante aka marbles. Scroll down to read on:
Mohali’s Guru Har Rai Colony put up a very interesting competition as Haddipa Gang against Diler Fighters. After an interesting game of Rumaal Chukna, the scores were 10 for Diler and 30 for Haddipa. The rules of Bante are simple, one player will aim at the marbles set by the opponent team member. If the player hits the targeted marble, the team gets a point. Diler fighters tried their level best to score more than Haddipa but they failed to score a single point at Bante. Haddipa members thought it will be an easy game to win but were put under pressure by Diler and earned no points from Bante. Thus, the points of both teams remained the same.
