Qurbaan Hua, an upcoming show on Zee TV show, marks Pratibha Ranta’s screen debut.

Family is everything to most of us. Sometimes, you are ready to walk over a cliff for your loved ones. Qurbaan Hua, Zee TV’s upcoming television show, is an intense drama about two such individuals Neel and Chahat who’d do anything for the people they love. These passionate personalities are caught in a crossfire when destiny leaves them at crossroads. Hailing from two very distinct backgrounds, Neel and Chahat enter the holy matrimony with a mission. Neel is hellbent on seeking revenge for his sister’s death while Chahat wants to prove her Abbu’s innocence who is accused of playing a role in the death of Neel’s sister. The question remains – what lengths will Neel and Chahat go to to save the love and pride of their family?

Aap Ke Aa Jane Se actor Karan Jotwani has been roped in to play the male lead on the show. Recently, Karan even shared a video on Instagram revealing his look from the forthcoming daily soap. Seen it yet?

Pratibha Ranta has been roped in to essay the female lead. The debutant is currently pursuing her graduation in filmmaking. Speaking about her character, Pratibha was quoted by a leading news portal as saying, “I must say that it is an honour to be given such a big opportunity of playing a strong lead character in my very first show. The best part is that I am going to be making my debut on Zee TV, a channel that I’ve been following since childhood. Last year, I arrived in Mumbai to learn filmmaking and within a few months, I came across this opportunity and bagged it. I also need to add that I didn’t even blink once before accepting the part because I associate with her very much. I feel Chahat is a spirited young woman and every girl would want to be like her. I can’t wait to see everyone’s reaction to my character and the show.”

Qurbaan Hua is set against the backdrop of Devprayag, the place where Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers join the river Ganga. It is being produced by Full House Media.
