Sahil Agarwal and Vedika Mathur’s love story from Aapke Aa Jane Se is an unconventional romance that proves love knows no bounds and certainly age is no bar. The Zee TV show stars Suhasi Dhami as 42-year-old Vedika, a conservative, independent widow who has a daughter, Arya. Karan Jotwani plays Sahil, a 24-year old careless but kind heir of the Agarwal Gold Industry in Kanpur.

The daily soap traces the love story of Sahil and Vedika, as their society and family continue to oppose their romance. This coming-of-age love saga got us to dig out more such age-gap romances shown on television.

Guddan: Tumse Na Ho Payega is the love story of India’s younger mother-in-law. Guddan, who is always deemed as incapable of accomplishing a task by those around her, ends up getting married to Akshat Jindal. Akshat, better known as AJ on the show, is businessman gone sour after his wife’s death.

The narrative follows the blooming of a romance and a soft corner for each other between AJ and Guddan, despite the circumstances they get married in.

Age-gap between the protagonists Isha Nimkar (Gayatri Datar) and Vikrant Sranjame (played by Subodh Bhave) is the centre of attention in leading Zee Marathi show Tula Pahate Re.
