Abhidnya Bhave, Anita Date Urge Fans To Help Theatre Artists Affected By The Lockdown

Our favourite Marathi celebs have stepped forward to help the theatre artists who are facing the brunt of the ongoing lockdown.

Many of the functioning economies are facing the brunt of the global crisis caused by coronavirus. The enforcement of lockdown has affected the livelihoods of many, several of whom have lost their jobs. Others have been forced to stay at home with no salaries. While the government has put some effective measures to prevent unemployment, our favourite Marathi celebrities have joined hands to help the ones in need. Some of them have already donated money to organisations supporting corona relief. Anita Date, Siddharth Jadhav, Shreya Bugde, and Abhidnya Bhave have united to support the theatre artists who are worst affected by the ongoing lockdown.

Anita who plays the role of Radhika in Mazhya Navryachi Bayko recently shared a post on Instagram and asked her fans to contribute a small amount to help the needy. Since theatres are now closed, several of the technicians, backstage artists, lightmen are finding it hard to survive. Therefore, the celebs have decided to raise funds of Rs. 10 crore to help the artists.

Ye Re Ye Re Paisa actor Siddharth also urged his fans to contribute to this noble cause. The actor tweeted that a helping hand would be enough to save the lives of many families. He shared the details of the relief fund on his Twitter account.

On the other hand, Shreya posted it as her story on Instagram asking everyone to work together to save the lives of these troubled souls. The Chala Hawa Yeu actress urged her fans to contribute towards this relief fund initiated by the Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Natya Parishad. Following her footsteps, Abhidnya too shared an Instagram story regarding the same.
