Archana is married to Vineet Muthukrishnan and has a daughter named Zaara. The vivacious host of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors Season 2, recently visited the eternally beautiful town of Kanchipuram to take the darshan of the Athi Varadar. The beauty about the deity is that the idol crafted with the wood of the Indian fig tree remains underwater for forty years and is taken out only once for darshan. Had the divine experience of visiting Kanchipuram #athivaradhar today.. my mom @lalnirmala wanted to so badly and I was worried if we could make it happen.. Respect to the police and the collector and the SubCollector at Kanchipuram for pulling this off with such expertise. Separate lines for pregnant and lactating women, senior citizens, VIPs, 500/- darshan, parking facilities, toilets, lots of drinking water and regular refreshments for the volunteers and cops.. experience it to believe it!! om namo Narayana!! And if you r an atheist, still visit … cos the statue is carved beautifully in wood (athi-Indian fig tree) and is a wonder considering it hasn’t decayed in 40 years of being under water!! The television host inspired people to visit Kanchipuram at the earliest because the idol will not be available for darshan after 16 August. Archana’s posts reveal her spiritual side as well as her love for her family while her spontaneity on TV reflects her chirpy personality.
