Thiravam

When you rope in Prasanna for a project, be prepared to be amazed. To ensure that he brings more realism to the character in Thiravam, the actor actually dyed his hair white! Also starring Indhuja, John Vijay and Kaali Venkat in pivotal roles, the series follows the life of a small-time scientist, who claims to have invented a ‘herbal fuel’ and focuses on the setbacks that he faces for the same.

Police Diary 2.0

The Zee5 Original revolves around four police officers with a lead SP, who runs the ‘Special Task Force’ and handles a plethora of real-life inspired cases. Interesting, gritty and gruesome tales are explored in the series that manage to keep the audience hooked. The show stars Santosh Prathap, John Kokken, Anjana Jayaprakash, and Pooja Ramachandran.

Auto Shankar

Appani Sarath stars in the docuseries of the real life serial killer, Gowri Shankar, famously known as ‘Auto Shankar.’ Although people know him for being the criminal who terrorised the streets of Chennai and killed six people within two years, back in 1989-90, the series takes a different approach to his life. The original series follows shades of the serial killer that not many know about.

ZEE5’s psychological thriller series revolves around the lives of three girls who are kidnapped by a psychopath. But why has he apprehended them? What’s the purpose behind holding them hostage? Will they be able to escape? Not only is the show intriguing but it also keeps the audience at the edge of the seat. The show stars Anish Padmanabhan, Vaibhavi Shandilya and Kalloori Vinoth in pivotal roles.

G.O.D

With a theme that is along the lines of Gangs of Wasseypur, there’s violence, crass language, vengeance and a plot that not many might be able to consume but those who do, will be blown away! The show stars Raj Deepak Shetty, Sruthy Jayan, Satyadev and Karthik Rathnam in pivotal roles. It is directed by Anish Kuruvilla.

What’s Up Velakkari

What’s Up Velakkari revolves around Jessi, an ultra-modern and tech-savvy maid, who is an integral part of her employer Natraj’s life. Things get complicated when Natraj’s newly-wed wife feels jealous of Jessi’s tech-savvy skills and her chemistry with Natraj. Starring Dhanya Balakrishna as the uber-savvy maid Jessi, the series also features Rakendu Mouli, Abhirami Iyer and Praveen Kumar M in pivotal roles.
