Comedy Shots, ZEE5’s deubut stand-up comedy show, is nearing the end of its first leg. With the Sanjay Rajoura‘s recently released episode this Friday, it caps off an interesting line-up of comedians. Based on the format of the show each comedian came up with specific themes to joke about. From using observational humour and mining their own personal lives for jokes. The stand-up comedians used every means to keep up entertained.

Rahul Dua kicked off the first episode of Comedy Shots. His funny opening montage is of him waking up in shorts 20 seconds before his show. He started off by talking about coming from a family of hoarders. This was a premise relatable to every Indian household. His jokes about ancient sofas coming to life were inherently funny. Sumit Anand is a comedy veteran who’s been honing his craft for 10 years. This experience shows in his episode of Comedy Shots. Sumaira Shaikh is the only woman on the line-up and she represents strongly in her episode. Her episode begins with her stealing makeup from the green room.
