Dance India Dance 7 Battle Of The Champions: Jodhpur’s Unreal Crew Wins The Zee TV Show

Jodhpur’s Unreal Crew is the winner of Dance India Dance 7: Battle of the Champions. The seventh season of India’s popular dance-based reality show concluded with a grand finale on Sunday night. The gala event was marked by mesmerizing performances by judges Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bosco Martis, Raftaar on a medley of their hit songs. ‘King of Contemporary,’ choreographer Terence Lewis, who has judged the previous seasons of Dance India Dance, graced the finale episode of the Zee TV show. Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Farhan Akhtar were seen in attendance too, to promote their upcoming film The Sky is Pink.

Unreal Crew is a group of six boys from Jodhpur who specialize in Tuttamation form of dance. They were mentored by Bhawna Khanduja and placed in the North ke Nawabs zone while on the show. The Unreal Crew beat Akshay Pal and Pranshu-Kuldeep of West ke Singhams, Mukul Gain from East ke Tigers and I am Hip Hop of South ke Thalaivas to bag the coveted title.

Unreal Crew became the National Dance Champion and won a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh. At the beginning of the competition, judge Bosco had announced that the winner shall bag a feature in his upcoming dance film. Besides the trophy and money, Unreal Crew also bagged a golden opportunity to showcase their talent in a feature film! Student of the Year 2 and Namaste England fame Aditya Seal, who shall headline Bosco’s dance drama, graced the finale episode too.

The finale was high on dance and entertainment as Aitraaz girls Priyanka and Kareena shook a leg together. The leading Bollywood ladies danced to their popular party number Aaj ki Raat from the film Don. Besides, the top five finalists too doled out their brilliant best to impress the audience and judges alike. The seventh season of India’s biggest and iconic dance reality show Dance India Dance premiered on 22 June 2019. It marked the television debut of Kareena. Karan Wahi hosted Dance India Dance 7.

Dance India Dance 7 will now be replaced by another popular reality show, a comedy game show called Movie Masti With Maniesh Paul. The show will feature a filmy family comprising of Ali Asgar, Monalisa, Paritosh Tripathi, Balraj Syal while Maniesh is the host. It goes on air on 5 October 2019, Saturday-Sunday 9:30 pm.
