Dance Karnataka Dance Family War 2 Recap: Two Mega Celebrites Came As Guests Last Weekend

Dance Karnataka Dance Family War 2 hosted the ‘Navarasa’ round and as usual, the lovely hostess Anushree welcomed all the participants, the three judges and the viewers. Like the previous rounds, this time the unique thing was that each team had to choose between the nine emotions and show their best of capabilities through their dance.

Unlike other dance shows, the blockbuster show of the state Dance Karnataka Dance Family War 2 has exceptional concepts for each week, to entertain you. Also, last week not one but two megastars came to the show.

While the first one as you already know was the Golden Star Ganesh and the second one was none other than namma Srujan Lokesh, who came to promote their latest films Geetha and Ellide Illi Tanaka, respectively.

Let’s recap last week…

1. Pranathi (Bramhagantu) and Tejas (Kamali)

For their exceptional romantic performance on Ganesh’s songs, the judges awarded them the ‘Fire-Brand-Performance’ and the golden hats.

2. Adithi and Vicky from Gattimela

Choosing the emotional theme of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, the best revolutionary freedom fighters of India, Adithi and Vicky performed flawlessly in their act. This earned them the well-deserved standing ovation and ‘Fire-Brand-Performance’ and golden hats.

3. Anika (Kamali) and Preethu (Paaru)

To portray the life of a speechless animal like a dog. What they feel their emotions and everything was displayed in an emotional manner to a Vijay Prakash song. In the act, Preethu and Anika played the role of parent street dogs to puppies and showed what goes to through the minds of dogs who are abused. Their act was given 28/30 by the judges.

4. Suraj and Minchu from Comedy Khiladigalu

Bringing together the emotion of heroism, Suraj and Minchu’s act would surely take you back to the 80s. Paying a tribute to the legendary icon of Sandalwood, Dr Rajkumar, Suraj and Minchu gave an entertaining performance which earned them 23/30.

5. Lokesh and Manthana from Comedy Khiladigalu

Dancing to tunes of a retro romantic and folksy song, Lokesh and Manthana’s emotion was romance. After knowing that Lokesh’s leg is severely sprained the judges gave their praises for the brilliant efforts. Since Arjun Janya had to leave for some urgent work, the Jodi got the score of 17/20.

6. Anoop and Dimpanna from Drama Juniors

A magical performance was delivered by Anoop and Dimpanna, who were dressed as characters inspired by the Hollywood film Avatar. The UV act was rewarded a whopping 27.5/30.

7. Alaap (Drama Juniors) and Jnana (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs Season 16)

These two tiny tots turned everyone’s heart to mush with their adorable performance using vegetables and their importance as the theme. The judges were floored with the amount of cuteness.

8. Ashok and Bhavani from Aathma Bandhana

Bringing to us the emotion of rage using fire as the prop, Ashok and Bhavani aggressive performance was loved by everyone and the two got the ‘Fire-Brand-Performance’ along with the golden hats for their act.

9. Prekshith and Anwisha from Drama Juniors

Prekshith and Anwisha brought to the viewers the emotion of disgust by using leprosy as their topic. Their performance was a tribute to the Bhopal gas tragedy that took place a few years ago and the repercussions that the citizens have had to face till date. Since the topic was so sensitive and heart-warning Vijay sir denied giving any score to such a wonderful performance.

10. Hiranmayi and Soorya from Mahadevi

Dressed as pretty birds, Hiranmayi and Soorya brought out the emotion of love and lust in front of the audience. Their act was so mesmerising that with some constructive criticism, the two got 18/20 from the two judges.

11. Shiny from Sa Re Ga Me Pa

Due to Hanumantha’s ill-health, Shiny takes the stage as a solo performer. Using a peacock themed song, Shiny performances very beautifully in her solo act. However, her final scores were 22.5/30.
