Gokulathil Seethai 3 – 7 January 2020 Episodes: Arjun Threatens To Call Cops On Paati

In the episodes of the previous week, Vasundhara’s paati pretends to use Arjun’s mother’s voice and asks her to bring the office cheque book. Vasundhara is reluctant to do it as her father has told her to not leave the house. But since it is related to work, Vasu’s father eventually lets her go. Arjun notices Vasu at his place and wonders what she is doing there when she clearly told him that she won’t be around. Jyothimani plans to kidnap Vasu on Paati’s orders but fate takes a different turn after she ends up being dropped Off- by Arjun.

On their way back, Arjun and Vasu talk about love. They then bump into a blind couple who have been in love for over 10 years. However, since they don’t have enough money to get married, they decide to participate in a lover’s contest where the prize money is enough to help them get married. Arjun and Vasu team up to play on the blind couple’s behalf, to help them win the money, so they can get married. Arjun promises to drop Vasu back home in time so that she can meet the man who has come to seek her hand for marriage.

Vasu and Arjun participate in the contest and manage to win all the three rounds. In fact, the host actually wonders if there is something going on between them. In the last round though, Vasu and Arjun get handcuffed but after winning the show, they are unable to get them off. Arjun then suggests that they head to her house for now and call the guy who can get the key for their handcuffs. Arjun dresses up in a burkha and hides his identity. Vasu and Arjun are together throughout and he pretends to be her makeup artist.

The guy who has come to see Vasu is already seated in her house along with his family. Jyothimani peeps into their house and notices that Vasu is with Arjun and informs Paati the same. Needless to say, she takes this moment to blow his cover and make matters worse for Vasu. The guy along with his family storm off as they don’t want to take the alliance further with her. Vasu’s father loses his cool and yells at Arjun. He tries to explain the misunderstanding and says that he can use his money to help them out. However, that makes Vasu’s father furious and he slaps him.

Later, Arjun feels terrible and guilty about whatever is happening. He is about to drink some alcohol when Vasu stops him. She tells him that alcohol is not the way to solve problems. However, Arjun feels guilty that Vasu’s alliance didn’t get through. She leaves as Arjun refuses to listen. Later, Arjun’s mother and aunt are freaking out as he has locked himself in the room and his hand is bleeding. Arjun’s aunt loses her cool and gives Vasu a call. She then threatens to ruin Vasu’s life if she ever tries to play with her nephew’s life.

Vasu then pays Arjun a visit and explains to him that he shouldn’t feel guilty for whatever misunderstanding occurred. In fact, she will not leave his side or the job as she will handle her personal life. Vasu manages to tend to his wounds and feeds him as well. As she goes back home, her father refuses to speak to her. He doesn’t even look at her because it reminds him of the insult he had to bear. Paati lashes out at Vasu’s father and asks him to make her quit the job as she is clearly not doing anything worthwhile.

Arjun gives Vasu a call and states how he feels terrible for what has happened. However, just then, Paati enters and starts yelling at Vasu for keeping ties with him. Arjun gets furious as he cannot help Vasu due to his own situation. Hence, he drops by at their place and threatens to call the police to their house if they raise a hand on Vasu.

If you aren’t aware of the plot, here’s what Gookulathil Seethai is about. The story revolves around Vasundhara, a down to earth, traditional woman, hailing from a middle-class family. Her simple world takes a tumultuous turn when her paths cross Arjun, a wealthy casanova, who is known for his reckless life decisions. Despite their diverse personalities, Arjun and Vasundhara fall in love. How she tries to change Arjun’s arrogant and reckless nature, forms the crux of the story. The show stars Asha Gowda and dancer-choreographer turned actor, Nandha, in pivotal roles.
