Happu Ki Ultan Paltan streaming on AndTV and ZEE5 is a comedy-drama. It is the spin-off of Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain based on the character of Inspector Happu Singh portrayed by Yogesh Tripathi. The show is full of crackling jokes and fun. But on a serious note, the show also breaks many stereotypes that society has developed. The show stars veteran actor Himani Shivpuri in a prominent role. Happu Singh and his wife Rajjo (Rajesh) are often seen bickering on a daily basis but their love is one of a kind!

The show explores the idea of women working out of the home, earning a livelihood, and being independent. Though it shows Rajesh as a housewife, there are instances in which it has been mentioned that she can be independent if she wants. This is an important lesson for women!

The show also explores the idea of friendship or kinship between a girl and a boy in the form of Kate and Kamlesh’s relationship. Though Happu opposes it and Kamlesh can be seen developing feelings for Kate. Their friendship is one of the purest relationships.

The show also is an example of how women are strong and can fight when the time comes! Malaika and Kate are very strong and are often seen supporting their mother Rajesh, when she needs them.

The Singh family is a big and chaotic one but the way they celebrate festivals and stay happy is what we need to know about the stereotype that big families mean big troubles!
