Rajesh and Amma are two tough women who give all women lessons on empowering themselves. Want to know what it is? Read on to find out.

The &TV show starring Yogesh Tripathi, Kamna Pathak and Himani Shivpuri is a comedy-drama revolving around Happu’s family, which includes his 11 children! The spin-off emerged from &TV’s popular drama Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain. The immense popularity and accolades received by Yogesh Tripathi aka Happu made them design an entire show revolving around him. The show is a fun family drama that explores various subjects that involve a joint family. Happu loves his wife and children, but in the recent episodes, Rajesh can be seen suspecting her husband, Happu’s moves make her feel that he is breaking the vows of their marriage.

Happu’s friend Beni decides to visit Nabhi baba for the solution to his unrequited love for Bimlesh, Rajesh’s sister. Nabhi baba suggested that he should break Bimlesh’s sister’s marriage and only then he could get married to the former! Beni decides to try this but ends up creating a rift between Happu and Rajesh. Rajesh and Happu decide to divorce each other and their children start thinking about who they would support in this.

Meanwhile, Rajesh thinks about her life, she ponders about her income source, livelihood and other major things that she would have to deal with alone. Rajesh had earlier suggested that she start something of her own, a beauty parlour perhaps, so that she could while her time and be in touch with many women, she also would be able to bring home some finances. Amma had agreed with her but it had borne no fruition nonetheless.

We believe that had Rajesh started her own parlour and had an income source to support her, she would have felt more confident and independent. She would not have to fear if she would be paid and if she could feed morsels to her children. Important teaching that emerged out of this is that Amma, being a mother-in-law, supported Rajesh to go ahead and stand on her own feet. And though Rajesh and Happu’s marriage might be going through a rocky phase and the paradise could be restored, we think it is very important for every woman to be self-dependent!
