Q. What are you craving during pregnancy?
I have just one craving, a very weird one: Grapefruit. It’s the pomelo season so they are easily available in the market so I am happy. Besides this, nothing else. It is a very healthy craving though.
Q. Three changes pregnancy brought in you, besides the physical ones of course
First is mental awareness, I feel like however hectic my day is I need to wind down for half an hour. I need to breathe reconnect with my baby. Secondly, I am keeping a tab on all that I am eating. I maintain a food diary, that’s something my gynaecologist has told me. I am not avoiding totally, but I am having less sugar. Lastly, pacing down and planning a little bit. I am taking six months off after the birth of my baby. I don’t know how I will do it, I keep wondering what will I do? Kuch toh hoga, let’s see!
Q. You started the year with Gully Boy, which is India’s entry to Oscars, did three remarkable web series including Bhram on ZEE5 and shall end 2019 by welcoming a baby…it’s been quite a journey…
It’s been a blessed year. It’s been a year of surprises. Gully Boy going to Oscars is exciting, mothering a baby is the biggest role of my life, becoming a mother is an achievement of a lifetime.
Q. Have you shortlisted names for your baby?
We have a name. I have chosen a name if its a girl, my partner has chosen a name if its a boy! I am not going to share it yet.
