Lisaa (2019)

Helmed by debutant director Raju Viswanath, the story revolves around Lisaa, a young woman, who goes to meet her estranged grandparents and seek their approval for her mother’s second marriage. However, when she goes there, she not only finds out about her grandparents’ abnormal behaviour but also encounters unexpected and life-threatening situations. The film stars Anjali in the lead role of Lisaa while Makarand Deshpande and Yogi Babu play prominent characters in the film. You must definitely watch the film to find out if she succeeds in being able to free herself from the supernatural beings.

Kannamoochi (2020)

ZEE5’s latest original web series Kannamoochi tells us the tale of a young deaf and mute girl Aishu, who goes missing from her home one fine day. The troubled mother Priya (played by Poorna) launches a search for her missing daughter. We also see how Priya, during her search mission, uncovers a shocking revelation about an incident that occurred 20 years ago in the new apartment she recently shifted. Find out how did Aishu go missing and whether or not her mother will find her daughter. The series released today on March 13, 2020, and we don’t think, there could be any other better occasion to watch this than today – the ‘Friday the 13th’.

Bhaagamathie (2018)

Anushka Shetty starter Bhaagamathie revolves around a woman imprisoned in a haunted house, where a chain of strange incidents starts unfolding. Anushka’s character Chanchala is interrogated by law enforcers with regards to an investigation on a politician, who they suspect of corruption. Helmed by G Ashok, this 2018 Tamil horror thriller film is bankrolled by V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod under the banner name of UV Creations. If you also want to experience being haunted then this is the film that you must check out.

Nisha (2019)

ZEE5 Tamil Original web series Nisha, starring Anish Padmanabhan, Vaibhavi Shandilya, and Kalloori Vinoth in the lead roles, is a psycho-thriller which talks about three girls, who are held hostage by a psychopath in a hideout and are being tortured for their past crime. If you haven’t watched Nisha yet, we can’t recommend it enough. And if you’ve seen it before, we think it’s high time for a watch it again. What say?

Mohini (2018)

Trisha and Jackky Bhagnani starrer Mohini, helmed by Ramana Madhesh, redefines what a mass-appeal movie it is. This supernatural horror-comedy film is a rehash of the old standard horror film plot, where the spirit of a murdered woman returns to avenge her killer by taking possession of a living one. Though it’s a predictable one, it definitely is worth a watch. Another reason to watch this film is its amazing line up of actors including Poornima Bhagyaraj, Suresh, Mukesh Tiwari, Yogi Babu, Jangiri Madhumitha, Ganeshkar, and Swaminathan.
