In the recent episode of the popular show Main Bhi Ardhangini, we saw that Mahamaya, who is one of the most powerful sorceress, gets betrayed by her own servant Shalaka. This eventually leads to her death and as much as we hated her character of Mahamaya and Nilambari, we loved the actress who played the role, Deepshikha Nagpal. The beautiful actress has been a part of the show since the beginning and she played an important role in the success of the show.

It was an emotional time for the cast and crew of the show as they all have been a part of the team for a very long. The cast decided to have a surprise farewell party for Deepshikha after she shot her last scene. Take a look at the pictures below.

The shoot of the show was done in Jaipur, Rajasthan and the cast had to stay away from their families for weeks and even months. The team members brought a cake for with lovely message ‘We will miss you Mahamaya Nilambari… It was a wonderful journey.’

The actress was aware of the fact that her role was going to end soon. The makers had told her a week before and she was ready for it. While talking to a leading daily she said “I was informed around a week ago that my character is coming to an end. It didn’t come as a shocker to me because I understand that it’s a daily soap and makers have to try new things to keep the audience glued to the show.”

Mahamaya’s loyal servant and protector Adhiraj played by the actor Ankit Raaj was a part of the celebration and here’s is his picture with Deepshikha on her last day of the shoot.

Deepshikha and other co-stars were like a small family as they all were away from their real families. The actress also enjoyed Ganesh Utsav with the cast of the show. In this picture, we see Mohini and Mahamaya, the deadliest combination, but in real-life they are really good friends.

Yes, it’s Gulshan Tushir who played the character of Jaichand on the show. He has been in the show before the leap. It will be interesting to see if his character ends too.

It is truly surprising how you play an important role in other’s life. People may not tell you about it every day but when its a farewell, you get to know everything. It is truly an emotional time and just like us, even the actress couldn’t hold her tears.

We feel nothing is harder than this moment when you are asked to say a few words. Surely, the whole journey, that includes the bad and the good moments cannot be described in words but it always holds a special place in our hearts. Deepshikha is seen quite emotional as she thanked everyone and shared her memories of working with the previous cast Avinash Sachdeva, Aditi Rawat and Anjali Priya along with the current cast Ankit Raaj, Meer Ali and Heena Parmar among the others.

With Mahamaya’s defeat, the story takes a new turn as Vikrant an evil comes alive. We saw that Bhujang had warned Mahamaya about his arrival but she didn’t listen to him. The new character of Vikrant will be played by the actor Rohit Bakshi.
