Since Navratri is around the corner, your favourite ladies from Zee Punjabi are here to inspire your festive outfits!

Navratri, a nine-day celebration of the victory of good over evil is all about colours. Although, different regions celebrate the festival differently. In the Eastern and North Eastern side, people rejoice by praying the goddess with Durga Puja. Whereas, in the Northern and Western states, the festival is enjoyed with Ram Leela and Dussehra, to celebrate Lord Rama’s victory over Raavan. However, one thing remains the same across the country – colours! Here’s a quick look at your favourite stars to help you follow the colours for all nine days.

Wear red like Deshpreet

Red is the first colour of Navratri. This is the colour of Goddess Shailaputri. You can take some fashion inspiration from Khasma Nu Khani‘s Deshpreet (Harsimran Oberoi) on carrying bright red oufits!

Dress in blue like Seerat

The colour for the second day is blue. This is the colour of Goddess Brahmacharini. The Devi of love, loyalty, wisdom, and knowledge. Check out Tera Rang Chadeya‘s Seerat (Neha Thakur) rocking a vibrant blue outfit!

Shine bright in yellow like Simple

Agreed that Simple (Sukhpreet Trehan) of Khasma Nu Khani has made Deshpreet’s life difficult. But there is no doubt that she can carry yellow better than everyone else. So, on the third day, yellow is your colour, and it pays homage to Goddess of beauty and grace, Chandraghanta.

Go green like Deshpreet

Deshpreet is an epitome of good luck and every colour suits her well. But Green is the colour for the fourth day inspired by Goddess Kushmanda and you’ll look just as stunning as Desho!

Grey is beauiful!

For day five, grey is the set colour of the day. This colour is of Goddess Skandamata, the protector. And who else can carry this colour better than Deshpreet? Not to mention, like Skandamata, Deshpreet is also protective of her son.

Grace the anger with Orange

Here comes the colour of day six – Orange! It is the colour of the slayer of demons, Goddess Katyayani. If you think that the colour is too bright for you, just take inspiration from Seerat. Doesn’t she look good?

Bring peace by wearing white

Tu Patang Main Dor‘s Zarina (Chetna Singh) is a genuine and noble person. On day seven of Navratri, when you to wear White, remember her simplicity and you’ll look just as pretty! White is the colour of Goddess Kalaratri.

Embrace pink like Mahi

For day eight, you need to wear the colour pink as it is dedicated to Goddess Mahagauri. Kamli Ishq Di‘s Mahi (Shehnaz Saher) looks vibrant in this colour, and she’s the perfect inspiration, isn’t she?

Shine blue like Emily

At the end of the festival, you need to wear blue to pay respect to Goddess Siddhidatri. Just look how blue suits Vilayti Bhabhi‘s Emily (Isha Gupta) so well.
