Postman Episode 9 Written Update: Raja And Rajini Send A Greedy Man Behind Bars

In the previous episode of Postman, two best friends Ibrahim and Ravishankar are separated in their childhood as one belonged to a Muslim family and the other had Hindu origins. However, Ibrahim, who had to leave the village urgently and move to Pakistan, had no other way to inform his friend Ravishankar besides a letter. But the letter was never delivered to his friend as Raja had gone into a coma 23 years ago. And when Raja finds one such undelivered letter with him, he goes to deliver it along with Rajini. Ravishankar, on receiving the letter, gets emotional and assumes that his friend must have passed away now, given his smoking habits. Rajini and Raja offer to help and tell him that they will try and find out about Ibrahim. They promise Ravishankar that they will make him meet Ibrahim if he is still alive. So they take a video of Ravi Shankar sending out a message for his Pakistani friend. When Rajini puts it up on social media, the video gets viral and appears on a news channel. This way, they not only find Ibrahim but also reunite the two best friends. The other family members, who had been behaving badly with Ravishankar, start being very kind to him

In the ninth episode, citing the ‘Thirukural’ poem as an example, a man explains to his four sons the philosophy of not desiring another person’s possessions, back in 1995. In the present time, Raja, who finds a letter addressed to Mr. Sakthivel, reaches the location to hand over the letter to him along with his daughter Rajini. When they reach the address, they ask for Mr. Sakthivel and say that there is a letter for him. The people in the house get very excited to know that a letter has arrived. Raja and Rajini find it very strange to see people excited about a letter in 2018. Then they meet Mr. Rajavel and ask for Mr. Sakthivel to handover the letter. Rajavel lies to them that Sakthivel has passed away in order to get possession of the letter. Later, when Rajini asks them what’s in the letter, he asks them to leave.

The following day, Rajavel’s wife meets Raja and Rajini to tell them that her husband was awaiting this letter for 23 years now. She reveals that the letter is a code to a treasure left by his father and precisely why he took the letter that was addressed to his brother. She then tells them that Sakthivel is still alive and they need to meet him and tell him everything before her husband reaches him and gets the password to the treasure. So, Rajini and Raja set out on a path to find Mr. Sakthivel. They also get Rajavel arrested and help Sakthivel get the treasure that belongs to him. Later, Raja tries to tell Rajini about her parents, however, he finds out something shocking and falls unconscious. What was Raja trying to tell his daughter about her parents? Stay tuned!

The story revolves around Raja, a postman and possibly the biggest fan of Rajinikanth, who leads a happy life with his daughter. However, on a tragic day, with nine letters yet to be delivered, Raja meets with an accident and slips into a coma. The series of events that take place when he tries to deliver these letters 23 years later forms the crux of the story.
