Qubool Hai’s Puja Banerjee Gets Married To Kunal Verma; Donates Wedding Celebration Money

Qubool Hai actress Puja Banerjee recently got married to her boyfriend Kunal Verma after dating him for 11 years. Yes, you read that right! The couple tied the knot on April 15, 2020 in a grand ceremony, in the presence of Kunal’s family. Puja’s parents and her relatives are stuck in Kolkata and could not be part of their wedding. Due to the spread of the coronavirus, the couple had to call off their lavish wedding celebration and had to opt for a registered wedding.

The newlywed bride Puja took to her Instagram and shared the news of her marriage with all her fans. She shared a throwback picture from last year Durga puja sindoor khela and captioned it as, “Today was supposed to be our wedding but the situation is such that we have cancelled all our ceremonies although we had registered our marriage before a month so we are officially married and together forever now. With the blessing of our parents and grandparents, we start our new life need all of your best wishes. Our family is happy and so are we.” Puja and Kunal revealed that they got married after one month.

In an interview with a leading entertainment portal, Puja said that they had a court marriage a month ago, and had kept the news under wraps. But they revealed their marriage news to everyone on April 15 and hence consider this as their wedding date.

Puja even mentioned that she and her husband Kunal, will be donating the money which they were supposed to spend on their wedding to the needy people. She even promised to host a party once everything comes back to normal.

For the uninitiated, Puja and Kunal met on the sets of a TV show and fell for each other. The two started dating but after a while, their relationship hit a rough patch. But just like the saying; ‘All’s well that ends well’ ! The lovely couple got engaged in August 2017 and threw a lavish party for their industry friends. Anita Hassanandani, Surbhi Jyoti, Bharti Singh and other TV celebs attended their engagement party.

On the work front, both Puja and Kunal have gained a lot of popularity with their performances in TV shows. Puja essayed the role of Afreen in Qubool Hai where she played a negative role.
