Rani Rashmoni 26 August 2020 Written Update: Here’s how Kamala contributes to Rani and Vidyasagar’s cause

In this premiere episode of the latest Zee Bangla TV serial Rani Rashmoni, the Rani (played by Ditipriya Roy) tells Vidyasagar that they must prevail over the opposition and win. Determined, she renews this vow by pointing out that if they stick to their path steadfastly, there will be no other outcome but their victory. The Rani and Vidyasagar are fighting for the right of widowed women to re-marry.

Kamala, Rani Rashmoni’s granddaughter-in-law who is also a widow, donates her jewellery to this cause. She hands them over in a wooden chest and Vidyasagar is reluctant to accept it at first, as he cannot dream of stripping her off so much wealth. However, Rani Rashmoni points out that if this is Kamala’s own wish, she cannot change her mind but only respect it.

When Vidyasagar accepts Kamala’s contribution, she looks extremely pleased. After all, it is a cause that holds tremendous meaning for her. After this, Kamala and all the other members in the Rani’s family, including Peshonno and Jagadamba, sign the sheet with signatures of people backing the cause. Mathur Babu (played by Gourab Chatterjee) smiles and gladly signs this too, and a sense of hope takes over the atmosphere. With such an enormous level of support, will Rani Rashmoni and Viyasagar win  this fight?
