Wondering who among your favourite ZeeTV actors took part in the Hit Me challenge? Check it out.

It is raining challenges on various social media platforms, ever since the lockdown has been announced. With limited sources of entertainment at home, people are channelling their inner creativity to either entertain or educate the masses. One among the many challenges that went viral recently was initiated by a group of French stuntmen, where each one of them from their respective homes hit the camera, and the person following them gives an appropriate reaction. Guess who took a leaf from their books and created their own version of this ‘Hit Me’ challenge? Our very own beloved Hum Tum Aur Them actress tried to convey the message of staying indoors through the video.

Blending fun and a social message together, here’s how Shweta Tiwari and a few of our favourite ZEE5 actors took up the ‘Hit Me’ challenge in their style!

The video begins with a piece of powerful background music, and a killer look by Shweta Tiwari, who was the one to upload this video on Instagram with the caption – This was so much fun and also this is when someone says, “I need to step out!!!” And looks like she means it, because her fierce expression says it all!

The first to get hit (of course, virtually), is Krip Kapur Suri, of Jeet Gayi Toh Piyaa Morre fame, who gives the perfect reaction to Shweta’s force! He pushes himself away from the camera and lands on his bed! Truly, if this happened in real life, we cannot imagine a better response than his. With the same energy, he comes closer to the camera and gives it his all to the next person.

Acting like she got hit right on her head because of Krip Kapur Suri, is Rishina Kandhari, the actress who won our hearts in the show Akbar Rakht Se Takht Ka Safar. She lands on her sofa because of the hit. Ready to react, she frantically searches for an item to throw at the camera. And her weapon is the one which creates a fight in every household – the remote!

Interestingly, the items that are chosen to hit become bigger in size, as Sharad Malhotra, who acted in Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, is seen at the receiving end of a cricket bat! He acts as if he is dizzy, and tries to stand straight, as soon as he does that, he picks up an apple, and moves towards the camera. The actress from Santoshi Maa i.e. Debina Bonnerjee, who gets the apple, then rolls over on the bed, before she gets up to slap the camera. To make it interesting and informative, she is seen catching a hand sanitiser so that she can clean her hands before slapping! A thought-through script, we must say! Not forgetting the task at hand, she cleans her hands and goes right ahead with her slap!

The video ends with Couple of Mistakes star, Karan Veer Mehra, who funnily portrays the effect of a blow on his eye. Full marks to the efforts he took, to look like someone who got a black eye after a fight! With no one else to follow and no idea of what to do next, he ends the video beautifully by playing his guitar, and giving a soothing finish!

While they did this solely for the purpose of entertainment ,without a negative intent, they have responsibly requested everyone watching the video not to imitate any of the actions shown in the video.

Didn’t it all feel real to you? Well, that is how awesomely talented they are! Watch them putting their best foot forward in multiple shows, only on ZEE5.

Watch Simmba, the super-hit action movie starring Ranveer Singh now on ZEE5.
