Our favourite part about acting is getting an opportunity to dress up in different costumes and try interesting roles. This is the best way of breaking away from the regular monotony of life. Recently, Aamhi Doghi actress Khushboo Tawde did just that as showed us her new avatar and took us back in time.

Khushboo who plays Meera in the Marathi TV show posted a picture of her in a retro hairdo and makeup. She gave a modern twist to the polka-dotted saree and Bollywood’s iconic puffy crown hairdo. The actress captioned the picture, “Maybe I was born in the wrong era.” This picture sure made us nostalgic as this is one timeless hairstyle that contemporaries even now try to copy. In Aamhi Doghi, we are used to seeing her in simple kurtas, what a break it is from those dresses, right?
In the second picture, she did a re-imagination of another braid that was raging in the ‘90s. Don’t you think she reminds you of the legendary actresses like Sharmila Tagore, Babita Kapoor, Sadhana and Saira Banu? Maybe she is born in the wrong decade. Maybe she travelled all this way just to show us how to get the vintage right. We will never know! However, one thing’s for sure, we will be here taking notes every time she dishes out her style secrets.
