Did You Know Dharani, Geetha and Nayani Celebrated Varalakshmi Vratam? Take A Look:

For most South Indian households, Varalakshmi Vratam is an awaited function. It is no grand festival, but people look forward to it just the same, and take blessings from Goddess Lakshmi. On this day, the goddess is worshipped by devotees in hope that she will grant their wishes. People, mostly women, observe a day-long fast and decorate their houses after cleaning every nook and corner. A special mini temple-like set up is prepared where the goddess’s idol is placed. In the evening, families come together to perform a pooja and other holy rituals before breaking their fast.

We are sure, you might have wondered how our favourite Zee Telugu ladies are preparing for this vratam. This time, the excitement is more than ever, because many new ladies have joined the clan. From Nayani and Sarsu to Shruti and Laya, we cannot wait to see how they complete the Varalakshmi Vratam for the first time. In fact, we managed to get some scoop on some of their special functions, just for you.

Dharani and Aditya, from Attarintlo Akka Chellellu

Aditya and Dharani are in the middle of proving themselves in the house. Priyamvada, Shravani and Shobhan Raju are desperately trying to make sure they fail. In the midst of all this drama, Dharani has decided to leave things to the goddess by performing this grand vratam and hope for a happier life.

Geetha, from Gundamma Katha

Geetha decided to host the vratam on behalf of herself and Priya. However, Priya has different plans and takes this holy day as an opportunity to insult Geetha. Not only does she insist that they host a different vratam suitable to their social stature, but also comes up with ugly plans to ruin Geetha’s day. Priya finds a way to plant an explosive coconut near Geetha’s idol. However, Gundamma solves the problem and the explosive coconut ends up bursting in front of Priya’s idol.

Nayani, from Trinayani

Lastly, we have Nayani, the newest bride from amongst the Zee Telugu ladies. After being rejected by her newlywed husband Vishal, Nayani still finds a way to stay in his house. He is yet to accept her but at least they are having conversations about it. Nayani is preparing for the vratam at her own pace. She plans on asking the goddess to keep her husband safe from the scary people around him, and help them avoid any unforeseen threats.
